ABOUT
AMANDA L GUERRA

Amanda Guerra has always had an eye for film and movie making, taking great interest early on in life. While her peers were more into movies for their age group, Amanda was fixated on masterpieces such as The Shining and Pulp Fiction. It was these types of films that drew her in and she wanted to work in the TV/film industry.
With her goals set on directing, she also discovered another skill within the film industry that she enjoyed: editing. Starting in middle school, she was working on class projects and focusing on cleaning up shots to make them spotless for their great reveal. She made videos for projects that did not even call for videos. Any story she can put on paper, she wanted to put it on screen. Eventually bring her to win first place in a film festival she entered in high school. This marked her first achievement as an blossoming video editor.
As adulthood approached, Amanda wanted to continue her path in being a videographer and editor. She attended Florida International University, where she studied TV Production and marketing; as well as earning a certificate in film studies. She continued to hone her skills as an editor and worked to become more of a master at her craft. Learning the ins and outs of both the Adobe Premiere Suite along with Final Cut pro was just the start. She worked as a production assistant for several projects and became more experienced in camera/lighting/sound setup.
Recently, she has had the opportunity to work on projects of various kinds wearing different hats. From video editor, to first AC, she wants to do it all. Amanda has tasted the beginnings of her career working in film and plans to continue on, hoping to find her place in the big leagues as a editor/producer/director of larger productions.
